For the past decade my husband has been coming home with broken china! He will attend auctions and buy a box lot because there are one or two things he wants in the box. The rest is junk. Or what I received as junk. Until one day it hit me that I could recycle all of those old plates, saucers and teacups that no one else wanted! So I created pendant necklaces from what I could salvage from the brokenness! I have to say, they are all beautiful. And so unique. I get stopped everywhere I go and get asked about them! I make it a point now to have one on when I go out. I have sold a couple literally off my neck! I did my first show this weekend and got such fabulous feedback and sold the majority of my inventory! So I am on a mission to make about a dozen more this week and get them listed in my Etsy shop! These would make great gifts for friends. And for anniversaries, weddings and for bridesmaids! I can also do custom orders using your own broken china! Stay tuned for bracelets, earrings and belt buckles as well. And spread the word! Here are a few pics and a link to my store After Dinner Designs
